Details
The Panghu Giant V6 is a switch manufactured by Tecsee, featuring an interesting material called HPE for the housings. When we first tried them out, we were blown away with just how 'solid' this new material feels, giving us the impression that the housings are thicker and much denser than usual MX style switches. The material offers smoothness from that of UHMWPE, with an appearance close to Tecsee's other switches made from PME. Sound wise, these are rather similar to that of milky housings from Gateron but with an added crispness, as opposed to the more muted and subtle milky housings. The POM stem in the Giant V6s sport a long-pole, thus giving them an apparent and solid bottom-out sound. The push feel is rather consistent throughout the travel range without feeling too heavy at the top of the key press, thanks to its slightly longer than usual 16mm spring. Overall, these very unique linear switches are a must to try out in our opinion, and are currently one of our favourite MX-style linears with just how impressive the HPE housings sound and feel.
